Minutes of HSA meeting

Dr. Baddick provided a summary of the status of the WSSD strategic plan implementation. Her presentation was based on a comprehensive presentation recently made at a WSSD board meeting. That presentation is available at this link.
Following Dr. Baddick's presentation, a question was asked about the status of the district's Superintendent search. Dr. Baddick stated that the search is going well, with interviews intended for this month (January), and the goal of a final decision in February or March.
New SHHS Principal Andy Benzing then spoke with the group for a few minutes, and stated that he would like to regularly attend HSA meetings.
He noted his excitement at the new position, from helping enact the "snow manifestation survey," to working on a service opportunity for MLK Day and thereafter at the ACCESS Center in Chester (see top item in the Week 18 Newsletter), to cafeteria duty and getting to interact with groups of students.
The meeting was adjourned at approximately 7:48 p.m.
