Dear Strath Haven Class of 2027 Parents and Guardians,
As we look ahead to making our students' final year of high school memorable, culminating in an unforgettable Senior Celebration After-Prom event in 2027, we want to be mindful of everyone's valuable time and energy.
After reviewing our event planning and financial goals at our July 29th meeting, we made a strategic decision to simplify our fundraising approach. This year, we are shifting our primary focus to direct family donations rather than planning and organizing numerous labor-intensive fundraising events.
Our overall goal is to raise close to $60,000. To date, we have raised just under $18,000 through previous events, direct donations, rollover funds from a canceled NPE Williamsburg trip during COVID, and a generous gift from the Class of 2026.
How You Can Help Right Now
To reach our goal without adding extra stress to your schedules, we encourage each family to consider a suggested donation of $200 per senior student. We have calculated that if every family contributes this amount, we will not need to hold additional outside fundraising events.
We completely understand that not all families are in a position to contribute this amount. Direct donations of any size are deeply appreciated, and 100% of the funds go directly toward funding the Senior Celebration.

- By Check: Enclose a check payable to Senior Celebration, Inc. in an envelope labeled Attention: Senior Celebration 2027 and deliver it to the SHHS 3rd Floor Office.
- Grab Some Gear: Stop by our table at upcoming football games to purchase Krispy Kreme donuts or cozy Strath Haven custom blankets!
What Does This Mean For You
We will not be hosting a Fall Festival this year. Moving away from large-scale event coordination allows our parent volunteers and officers to focus on maximum impact with minimum overhead.
Streamlined Fundraisers: We will keep our item sales simple and manageable. Look out for our tables at football games and other school events where we will be selling treats and Strath Haven custom blankets!
Looking Ahead
We will review our financial progress at the end of 2026. If we find that we cannot reach our $60,000 target through direct donations and simple item sales alone, we will plan a spring fundraising event that will require volunteer help to organize and execute.
Because we will already be relying heavily on your hands-on support during the actual Senior Celebration After-Prom event, our hope is to reach our target now so we can skip the extra spring fundraiser altogether.
Our Goal: A Hassle-Free Senior Celebration
Our ultimate objective is to host an amazing, safe, and fun Senior Celebration for the Class of 2027. By relying primarily on direct contributions and a few simple item sales, we hope to reach our financial goals without requiring parents to constantly organize, volunteer for, or work at endless events.
